Chocolate Tart Diyas

A Diwali special vegetarian recipe is a must to be updated by me.!! So here’s one of my brother’s favourite dessert recipe. Basically an edible diya made of chocolate! And trust me these are super cute and super tasty <3



Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

For the tarts:
  • All purpose flour:                           150 gms
  • Sugar:                                              50 gms
  • Butter:                                             80 gms
  • Baking powder:                               2 gms


For the filling:
  • Dark chocolate compound:             50 gms
  • Fresh cream:                                    50 gms
  • Whipped cream                               100 ml


For the garnish:
  • White chocolate compound
  • Orange and red food coloring

 Let’s get started:

  • Sieve APF and baking powder together and keep aside.
  • Cream the butter until smooth and light. Add powdered sugar and mix well until uniformly mixed.
  • Add sieved apf and BP to the butter and sugar mix and crumb well.
  • Collect together and form a dough and refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Grease tart moulds and line the dough in it.
  • Dork the dough for blind baking or use beans to blind bake
  • Bake into a preheated oven at 180* for about 12 to 15 mins.
  • Meanwhile prepare a ganache out of fresh cream and compound chocolate. Recipe here:Chocolate ganache
  • Let the ganache cool down to room temperature.
  • Whip the heavy cream until peaks are formed.
  • Mix ganache into the whipped cream to get a mousse like texture out of it.
  • Store it in refrigerator.
  • For garnish melt white compound chocolate.
  • Separate into two different bowls. Add orange color to one and red in the other.
  • Using a piping bag form a flame shaped garnish out of both the colored chocolate
  • Assemble everything.
  • Let tarts cool down.
  • Pipe in the chocolate filling and decorate with prepared garnish.
  • Store in refrigerator until served. Serve cool.

Eggless Choco-chip Cupcakes

aaahhaaah!!! This is one of my favourite chocolaty recipe, recently I made this for my cousins and the muffins disappeared in no time😍😍 And this is a real sSIMPLE and EASY recipe. The chocolate chips make them drool worthy. Plus they are veggie😋😋 Ingredients: APF: 180 grams Sugar: 120 grams( i used only 100 grams bcs i like it a lil less sweet) cocoa powder: 4 tbsp Baking soda: 1tsp salt Oil/ Butter: 70 grams Instant coffee powder: 1.5 tsp in half a cup of warm water half a cup warm milk vinegar: 2 tsp vanilla extract: 1 tsp Chocolate chips( as much as you like) Method: Sift in APF, Sugar, Cocoa powder, Baking soda and salt all together in a big bowl and combine well. Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate Ganache is the tastiest derivative of chocolate. This sinful and delicious glaze requires only 2 ingredients!!  FRESH CREAM and CHOCOLATE The simple rule is the more the chocolate the thicker will be the ganache. Depending on the purpose or for what recipe you need the ganache for, it can be made in these ratios. Ratios are the weights (for ex. 1:1 = 100 gms of chocolate and 100 grams of cream) ·          Layer cake filling or frosting muffins:  1:1, equal parts chocolate and cream. ·          Soft icing and pourable glaze:  1:2, one part chocolate to two parts cream. ·          Chocolate truffles (super thick):  2:1, two parts chocolate to one part cream.
