Homemade Crispy Jalebi

Almost every Indian loves Jalebi . those beautiful saffron colored sinful sugary spirals are very hard to say no to. We love standing in front of the halwai and watch him make the spirals in that hot oil, you can try it at home as well, its a bit tricky but one can accomplish anything he sets his mind to to.. right??? While there are two ways to make Jalebi , an instant one and one where it has to be kept for around 10 -12 hours to ferment. I will explain the recipe for the fermented one here! honestly I haven't tried the instant one yet, so here's the recipe for FERMENTED batter for Jalebi. Easy and tasty Fried chicken.

No chicken lover can say no to fried chicken!! Correct enough?? This is really special to me because my dad loves this fried chicken <3 this is the most simplest and made with readily available ingredients at your own place. so get up and treat yourself with a super tasty chicken goodness. A note to tasty and crispy fried chicken is here!! Ingredients half a kg of chicken (boneless or with bone, as per your choice) For the brine: 1 ½  cup of Buttermilk ½ Tbsp. Ginger paste ½ tbsp. garlic paste ½ tbsp. cayenne pepper ½ tbsp. black pepper Hot sauce (as per your taste) I keep it mild spicy with 2tbsp Salt to taste. For the coating: An egg (whisked) I add salt and pepper here as well A cup plain flour( salt and pepper here as well) Adding salt and pepper to these will give a good flavor to the crispy layer. Vodka Haze

This is my first cocktail recipe. Well, my college life is sure shot very interesting and the things I learn from each day there are way more than interesting. This is what I made in my cocktail competition. This super refreshing vodka based drink is as amazing as my desserts <3 Here’s what you need: Vodka: 30 ml Coconut water: 30 ml Soda: 40 ml Lime juice: 5 ml Blue Curacao: 10 ml Mint leaves: 3 to 4 no. Cucumber: 1 no. A shaker And a glass for serving (I did with margarita) And a melon scooper for garnish ( optional) Let’s get started: In the shaker, add cucumber cubes and mint leaves and muddle it. Add vodka, lime juice and coconut water in the shaker ( don’t forget the ice cubes). And shake well. Transfer to the glass, add soda to it. Add blue Curacao and let it settle at the bottom Scoop out balls from cucumber. Thread them in the skewer. Serve. Stir before consuming.

Healthy chocolate cake(whole wheat, no sugar)

This one is another experiment done to get a healthier version of my favorite dessert! But this was accidental, I didn’t had Refined flour, so I had to use whole wheat flour! Did this black forest cake for my mom dad’s anniversary! Whole wheat healthy no sugar cake turned to a black forest cake! Here’s the recipe: Ingredients Whole wheat: 180 grams Honey/ sugar free(any artificial sugar) – according to taste 4-5 tbsp ( I used sugar free green bc my mom doesn’t like honey) cocoa powder: 4 tbsp Baking soda: 1tsp salt Oil/ Butter: 70 grams Instant coffee powder: 1.5 tsp in half a cup of warm water half a cup warm milk eggs - 2 vanilla extract: 1 tsp Method: Sift in whole wheat flour, artificial Sugar(if using), Cocoa powder, Baking soda and salt all together in a big bowl and combine well. Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate Ganache is the tastiest derivative of chocolate. This sinful and delicious glaze requires only 2 ingredients!!  FRESH CREAM and CHOCOLATE The simple rule is the more the chocolate the thicker will be the ganache. Depending on the purpose or for what recipe you need the ganache for, it can be made in these ratios. Ratios are the weights (for ex. 1:1 = 100 gms of chocolate and 100 grams of cream) ·          Layer cake filling or frosting muffins:  1:1, equal parts chocolate and cream. ·          Soft icing and pourable glaze:  1:2, one part chocolate to two parts cream. ·          Chocolate truffles (super thick):  2:1, two parts chocolate to one part cream. Baklava shots

This is an easier and super simple version of baklava my grandmom told me, it actually isn’t a baklava but it definitely gives a shot of flavor of the same!! With all the love and happiness here is the recipe of super easy baklava bites!! INGREDIENTS:  120 grams Sewai (rice vermicelli) 180-200 grams sweetened Condensed milk 2-3 tbsp Desi ghee Pistachio Almonds Saffron strands METHOD: Chop all the dry fruits and lightly dry roast them. Dry roast vermicelli (break them if they are too long) until golden in color. Add ghee and stir properly. Remove from flame. Add condensed milk and stir properly until combined well. Scoop out and garnish with dry fruits.
